Richard Mofe Damijo

Mofe-Damijo was born in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. He attended Midwest College, Warri and Anglican Grammar School. Richard Mofe Damijo (popularly known as RMD, born 6 July 1961). In 2005 he won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role.

– Education
RMD studied Theatre Arts University of Benin, he is also a lawyer as he studied Law at the University of Lagosgraduating in 2004.
– Family
RMD is a father to five children, four of which are from his current marriage, he other from his late wife  May Ellen Ezekiel popularly referred to as MEE
– Politics
Under the administration of Emmanuel Uduaghan Mofe-Damijo was made the commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State, Nigeria. Some of his biggest contribution to the tourism industry are the Wildlife park and the Water Park project all situated in Udu LGA, Warri.

Richard Mofe Damijo was once a reporter. He worked with Concord Newspapers and Metro Magazine much like his colleague Pete Edochie who had a stint with the BBC.
