 Event anchor, TV personality and singer Denrele Edun, also appreciated by many for his unique fashion style and personality, as stated that he is happy with his way of life because that is his own personality.

In a recent interview on TVC, Denrele, stated that his dressing is just his own way of keeping himself outstanding among many.
 
Infact, people complain about my hair and my dressing, let me shock you, I just allowed my hairs to grow, I have never retouched my hair. My life style is just my own unique personality.’


It would be recalled that Denrele, started his television career as an actor at eleven when he played a presenter/producer on Kiddievision 101 on NTA Network. As an undergraduate at the University of Lagos he went into modelling, and after graduation, he joined Sound City as a TV presenter. Denrele studied English Education at the University of Lagos.

The TV personality now enjoying the show biz industry, some years back, was excommunicated from his Church for how he dresses but did not allow that to weigh him down.


Denrele has won 16 awards and over 30 nominations in his career. He has previously worked with SoundCity before he was forced out and he moved on to become one of Channel O's VJs. 


The Punk and funky TV personality as he is being describe by fans, was born in Hamburg, Germany to a Yoruba father and an Indian-Mauritius mother. He is the only son and has two sisters. He grew up in Germany and came to Nigeria when he was five where he attended Saint Gregory's College, Ikoyi and the University of Lagos.

Wasiu Alabi (Pasuma Wonder)...MEET HIM.

Wasiu Alabi Ajibola Odetola, popularly known as Pasuma, was born to the family of Odetolas in November 1968.
He attended Muslim mission primary school from 1973 to 1979 after which he moved to Nigerian model high school, from 1979 to 1984 for his secondary school education.
Pasuma started his musical career in 1984 but only had the opportunity to record his first album in 1993 which was titled, recognition. His second album, choices followed there after in 1994. a subsequent album in 1995 titled, Orobokibo earned him an award as the best fuji artiste at the FMA awards.
Pasuma has played in several Benson and Hedges concerts from 1996 to 1998 and continues to perform in several other concerts both in Nigeria and abroad.
His last album, not included on the earlier list – feel it and role model- is still toping music charts in Nigeria.
 
Pasuma Speaks:
Way back in 1997, I had this musical relationship with a certain Adeolu Omotayo, the Chief Executive officer of House of Heavy Sounds (HHS), it was he who gave me the name Pasuma.
After watching me on stage on several occasions, he called me aside and asked, “Jibola do you know that the way you bounce and jump about on the stage, reminds one of a guy I know who uses a brand of energiser called Pasuma strong?”
Since I have never heard of the name Pasuma and how the drug worked I became curious.
After that encounter, I spent several nights thinking about the name Pasuma and eventually deciding to adopt it and adding wonder instead of strong. My feeling then was, if the drug is that good, maybe, it could bring me luck.
 
Life before Orobokibo
Before the release of the chart buster Orobokibo, I was like any other Fuji artist on the streets of Mushin. As at that time, we were just playing music, not knowing what the future held for us.
After the release of Orobokibo, my whole life changed, though it did not come to me as a surprise. I knew from the beginning that God’s plan for me had been finalised and l was destined to become big, but when, I did not know.
In my early days, there were pointers to what
God had in store for me, as I was loved everywhere I performed.
But it will be most unfair if I should take credit for the slang Orobokibo, because that word was created by one of my back-up vocalists.
When he first used the word during rehearsal session, I asked him the meaning, he simply told me it was a slang he picked up somewhere.
Somehow that slang caught on and went on to make a star out of me, and becoming a house hold word.
That, also explained the genesis of the slang Orobo for the 50cl Fanta and Orobo for fat women.

 D’Banj’s kid brother and DB Records singer, Kayswitch, is now a father following the birth of a baby boy by his Liberian girlfriend and former beauty queen, Meenakshi Monica Subramani.

The baby was delivered in the wee hours of  Saturday, March 15, 2014. An obviously elated Kayswitch uploaded the picture of the baby on Instagram , with a caption : “My GIFT from GOD. Too excited, more pictures comin soon.”

Recall that less than two weeks ago, we had reported that both lovebirds were expecting a baby.

Mrs Lott J is allegedly the mother of President Jonathan’s two boys. She bagged a law degree from Rivers State University.

Lott J is the daughter of Chief F.D. Lott, a renowned lawyer and former Attorney General of Bayelsa State. She is the cousin of Diezani Allison-Madueke, the controversy-inclined Minister of Petroleum, and the two are as close as blood sisters can be.
President Jonathan’s second wife‘s father is a member of the Governing Council of Niger Delta University, Bayelsa.

Lott J has been married to the president even before he joined politics. It was gathered that after Jonathan became the Deputy-Governor of Bayelsa State, Lott J tried to muscle her way into his heart, by using her two sons as a bargaining chips to tie his hand.

However, she met a resistance in a fiery Patience, who foiled all her attempts. By the time Jonathan became the governor of Bayelsa State, he decided to relocate his second wife and two sons to the United States of America. Shortly after Jonathan became president, Lott J came back to Nigeria with her two sons, and made Abuja her place of abode.

 

Sources in the know disclosed that Mrs Lott J current lives on Maitama Street in Abuja and her husband visits her quietly every Sunday.

People who know her described her as a very gentle and easy-going lady who is way younger and more educated than Patience Jonathan.

She is the founder of Abuja’s best private school, Aduvie Montessori International.
It is located on Blantyre Street Off Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent. Jonathan’s 2nd wife is not a stranger to the First Lady.

Popular Musician Danny Young In Car Accident On Lagos Ibadan Expressway!

Danny young was said to have missed his performance as the coppers where waiting to see him at the NYSC camp shagamu last night due to an accident that occurred on the Lagos Ibadan express way. The accident was due to the collision of his vehicle with another car resulted in fire.

Danny and his crew managed to escape through the windows and doors as other vehicle owners stopped by, bringing out fire extinguisher from various angles and assisted in putting out the fire.

We can’t actually say the present condition of Danny young or his team members that were present in the car but news reaching us says they are being hospitalized in an undisclosed private hospital in Lagos.

Sophia Tchidi Chikere: ‘Nuella Started Dating My husband Before He Left The Marriage And Not After.’!

Sophia Tchidi Chikere has reacted to the statement  released yesterday by actress Nuella Njubigbo who claimed she only started dating the movie director after his marriage to Sophia ended. Sophia says this is absolutely not true.
Sophia said she initially found the news hard to believe because she and Tchidi are not formally divorced yet.
Reacting to Nuella’s comments that the affair with Tchidi only started after his marriage ended, Sophia says it’s a blatant lie, that Nuella started dating Chidi long before their marriage ended, and actually blamed Nuella for the demise of her marriage that produced three boys.

But because I respect my husband a lot, the father of my three boys, I have kept calm and won’t talk and comment because there is no need to wash your dirty linen in public. Fine of N50,000 & be Imprisoned for 6 Months for Smoking in Public....LAGOSIAN SMOKERS BEWARE!

Where there is Law, they should be strictly adhered to, On February 17th, 2014, Lagos State Governor,Babatunde Raji Fasholasigned the “No Smoking in Public Places” bill into law to regulate smoking in public places. However, a lack of understanding of the law, has led to many Lagosians being exploited. But now, you can learn all about the law here!

Although the bill was signed into law in February, it only becomes effective on August 17th, 2014. Therefore, it is illegal for any official to enforce the law prior to this date. Also, the law will be enforced by theLagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA);therefore, it can not be enforced by just any official.

In addition, here is some pertinent information you should know:

For individuals

*.Any person found guilty of breaking the law will be liable to a fine of between N10,000 – N15,000, or to imprisonment for between 1-3 months, or other non-custodial punishment at the discretion of the Judge

*.Anyone who repeatedly breaks this law will be liable to a fine of N50,000 or 6 months imprisonment or both

For Business Owners

Any owner or person in charge of a “No-Smoking Area” who fails to put up “No-Smoking” signs on his/her premises, install smoke detectors, and/or stop anybody from smoking in the area is liable to:

*.Pay a N100,000 fine or be imprisoned for 6 months, or both
