Known to be one of the highest paid actresses in Nollywood, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde speaks passionately on what has kept her marriage for the past 20 years.
Few weeks ago, the actress and her husband were also reportedly spotted in Honolulu, Hawaii U.S.A, enjoying a 10-day romantic getaway; in celebration of their 20 year wedding anniversary. During a recent interview with “Love Haven”, Ekeinde revealed the secret behind her lasting marriage.
Still elated from her second honeymoon during the interview, Omotola explained that consciously making time for her husband was one of the best decisions she made in her marriage. She also spoke on the importance of intimacy and not letting a third-party into family discussions.
“..it is like a wall. The moment it’s cracked and lizards start coming in, it will be difficult to find the lizards…” -Omotola Jalade Ekeinde.
The actress also explained that individually paying tithe (a tenth of one’s earnings to a church), creates a covering and a solid foundation for the family. In addition, paying tithe places God in the position of eliminating every devourer.
