On Friday 3rd of April, 2015, Amercian rapper, Kendrick Lamar announced that he is engaged to his high school sweetheart and is looking forward to walking down the aisle with her soon.

On American radio station, Power 106 FM, K Dot was asked if he would be tying the knot any time soon and he said, “Yeah, definitely. I’m loyal to the soul.”

The Grammy award winning rapper who just released his second studio album, ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ in March met his fiancée at Compton’s Centennial High School. They have been together for ten years now and Kendrick refers to her as his ‘Day One’ person.
