5 Billionaires And Magnates... who Won’t Leave Wealth To Kids but To Philanthropy!..MEET THEM.

It used to be expected that wealthy parents would pass down that wealth to their children and keep the family taken care of. But a new generation of business tycoons and magnates have decided that their wealth will not go to their children. These super rich individuals have decided to give their money to charity to help others and encourage their children to find their own way.

1) Warren Buffet

This billionaire has decided to leave his money to the Gates Foundation instead of his own children. He is quoted as saying that he wants to leave his children with enough money to feel like they can do anything but not enough that they feel like doing nothing. Buffet has pledged 99% of his wealth to causes other than his children.
 2) Jackie Chan

Jackie Chan has announced that when he dies his son will not get any of his money. He is quoted as saying “If he is capable, he can make his own money. If he is not, then he will just be wasting my money.”

3) Pierre Omidyar

Pierre Omidyar made his fortune as the founder of Ebay and he has since used his billions for charity. He has stated that he wants to give his money to the less fortunate instead of his children. He and his wife are currently the biggest private donors in the fight against human trafficking.

4) Bill Gates

One of the richest men in the world and one of the first to publically announce that his money was going to charity instead of his children. He is the mind behind the “the Giving Pledge” which encourages other billionaires to give at least half the wealth to charity.

5) Chuck Feeny

Chuck Feeny was a billionaire in the 1980s after making his fortune from duty free shops in airports. However he donated his money to charity and gave nothing to his children. He even made them work through college and on vacations. He says that he wants the last check he writes to bounce and therefore has very little money left.
