What Good Is it to Gain the World but Lose Your Soul-Mate?

At some point in your marriage, if you grow together in spirit, soul, and body, you realize there’s no point in gaining the whole world but losing your soul-mate.

To gain the career but to lose your companion and best friend. To gain the dream home but to lose your dreams as a couple.
To gain influence and power with VIP’s but to lose the most important people in your life.

The world has a lot to offer in terms of being successful, but is success really worth failing at love and family?

My husband and I are no strangers to working 60+ hours a week, to spending 3 to 4 days a week at church or doing ministry in the community. We have big dreams and a sure purpose on our lives, individually and collectively. Nevertheless, I don’t want my marriage to die a slow death because we forgot to be husband and wife. Neither do I want our daughter to feel that our jobs are more important than she is. Our top priority has to be growing as a couple and family. So that might mean cutting out some plans or saying no to great opportunities.

Because when the cell phone, the computer, the business, or even the church turns into a companion instead of your actual spouse, something is seriously wrong. You chip away at the soul of your marriage every time you neglect each other for worldly success.

I know from experience that this can happen. You can get caught up in the moment, in the opportunity that seems too good to turn down. But what if you get the business deal or high profile speaking engagement only to come home to a loveless, sexless, soul-less marriage? What’s the selling price for your soul-mate?

Now this doesn’t mean to halt your plans or to stop dreaming big. It just means to dream bigger for your marriage and to value it more than you value worldly success. Ask yourself: who and what comes first? The material items, the career, and the fame, those things are temporary. However, your soul-mate should last forever, and the love you share should be until death do you part. There’s no job and no amount of money worth the companionship of your soul-mate.

Ask yourself, am I trying to gain the world at the expense of losing my soul-mate?

B-O-M-B-S-H-E-L-L!!! In Apparent Anger, Pastor Chris Lambasts Wife!

***I started Christ Embassy before I married her. I didn’t marry her and said we should start Christ Embassy
"My wife is always angry and bitter,” “Some pastors’ wives think when they marry a pastor, they are equal to the pastor. My wife thinks so. As a matter of fact, Rev. Tom was her pastor before I married her and Rev. Ray and Evang. Owase were her leaders long before I married her. How come she thinks she’s senior to them now?“I already started Christ Embassy before I married her. I didn’t marry her and said we should start Christ Embassy. I was already ‘pastoring.’ I already set my sail and knew my direction before I married her. I only said ‘come and help me.’ “Be careful of the friends you keep. My wife keeps friends who bring out the worst in her and help her see the worst in people, instead of keeping friends that will help her vision, especially as the wife of a global pastor like me.”

COMEDY UNLIMITED: OBASANJO CREATES DRAMA AT LADOJA’S HOUSE IN IBADAN!

Last Friday, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo paid a condolence visit to former Oyo State governor, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, at his Ondo Street residence in Bodija, Ibadan, over the death of his mother, Alhaja Alimatu Ladoja, who was buried on Thursday.

The visit of Obasanjo was not without the usual drama for which he is known.

It was learnt that Obasanjo had already arrived (he got to the house at about 7:40 a.m.) and was in a discussion with Ladoja and the immediate past Secretary to the Government of Oyo State, Chief Olayiwola Olakojo.

On sighting the reporter, Ladoja asked how he got to know Obasanjo was around in his house, with a reply from the reporter that journalists had their news antenna all over the country and were always on the trail of newsmakers.

As soon as Obasanjo realised it was a journalist that Ladoja was talking to, he said softly: “What are you looking for here? Get out!” Ladoja intervened and pleaded with Obasanjo to allow Saturday Tribune take a photograph of the trio.

Responding, Obasanjo burst into jocular remarks and said: “You have missed a lot. If you had been here earlier, you would have seen me when I was weeping. I wept profusely and I even raised songs in honour of the deceased. So, take your photograph and we will call on you when we are done with our discussion.”

The encounter with Obasanjo went thus:
Reporter: What can you say about the deceased?
Obasanjo: (feigned weeping)….Don’t you see I am crying?
What can you say about Mama’s life?
Mama, Mama, Mama….she was a good mother. Rashidi (Ladoja) is now motherless.
Ladoja (cuts in): I don’t have a father too, except you (embraced Obasanjo)
Obasanjo: Rashidi has now joined the club (of complete orphans).

We thank God that Mama left a worthy legacy, good children. She left what those of us who are her children can glory in. May the Almighty grant the deceased eternal rest and continue to keep the children. Mama, who left behind a good son as Rashidi Ladoja, truly has left behind a great legacy. But this great son that Mama left behind can be naughty at times. But when I scold him, he listens to me and corrects himself.

Ladoja, others laughed…

From his comment on Ladoja’s mother’s death, Obasanjo was asked if all was now well between him and his political godson, President Goodluck Jonathan.

Obasanjo’s reply was: “Ara e o ya-” (You are not well.)

This response drew laughter from around, while the former president hopped into his Jeep from where he told Ladoja he would not be available for the eight day prayer for his late mother because he would be out of the country then!

It should be recalled that Ladoja had fallen out with Obasanjo after the latter was fingered in Ladoja’s impeachment as the governor of Oyo State, but with the exchange above and Obasanjo’s second visit to Ladoja, the duo have apparently moved on, and have resumed their father-son relationship again.

SHOCKER!..Witches Are People in the Church And They Control Governance……..Witches Leader

Chairman of Benin Forum, the umbrella body of all Binis in the country and Diaspora, Chief David Edebiri, the Esogban of Benin Kingdom in Edo State, says unknown to many, witches run government and once they make decision, it is binding all over without the people knowing how.

The Bini chief, who recalled that witches were very vicious before now in the kingdom, said a traditional parliamentary action was endorsed by “our great, great grandfathers” to put together a group, which he (Edebiri) is presently the leader, to tame their excesses.

Speaking on being a departmental head of witches, the chief cleared the air that he was not a witch but rendering service to humanity.

“You should know that the head of the Federal Ministry of Health is not necessarily a doctor. I do not need to be a member, if I was a member, I will not be able to do what I am doing now. Secondly, their grade is too junior, if I were to be a member I cannot be in their grade. This thing has grade,” he stated.

Chief David Edebiri further disclosed that witches do not succeed where the name of Jesus Christ is being mentioned, adding that these people (witches) are either church singers or one thing in the church.

“But I can tell that so many of them have been converted to Christianity after passing through this place. The elders, who made this possible were very wise people, otherwise, what we should have been seeing today is burning and killing people, who are witches and that would have brought the society to another catastrophe,” he revealed.

SURVIVOR OF BOKO HARAM GWOZA POLICE TRAINING COLLEGE ATTACK TESTIFIES IN T.B. JOSHUA’S CHURCH!

The widely reported Boko Haram insurgency attack on Wednesday 20thAugust 2014 at a Nigerian Police training college in Gwoza, Borno State left few survivors. Omereji Friday, a Rivers State indigene who was present at the scene of the bloody onslaught, attributes his own survival to Divine protection.
Speaking at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos, Nigeria on Sunday 31stAugust 2014, the mobile police officer explained that he was stationed in Nasarawa State when informed that a training exercise was to be conducted in Gwoza, Borno State.

Before embarking on the journey, Friday, who spoke in pidgin English during his testimony, called his wife to inform her. “My wife nearly fell down,” he explained, stating she insisted he visit her before going on the exercise.

Omereji’s wife warned him of the dangers of the area in light of the recent activities of Boko Haram insurgents but the policeman seemed unperturbed by the dangers.

“We quarrelled in the house and she told me if I did not go to Synagogue Church first, there would be trouble,” he explained to the congregation.

Reluctantly agreeing with his wife and not by means of any personal conviction, Friday decided to visit T.B. Joshua’s renowned church in Lagos, Nigeria before his journey to Gwoza

Arriving in Lagos late on Sunday 17th August 2014, church activities at The SCOAN were about to cease. “I met one young man from South Sudan and introduced myself as a Nigerian police officer,” Omereji continued.

Although the service had finished, Friday pleaded with his newly made foreign acquaintance to give him something from the church he could take with him for the journey.

“He gave me the ‘Anointing Sticker’ which he was with and I put it in my pocket,” he continued. Arriving back home, Friday’s wife told him to promise her that he would keep the ‘sticker’ which bore the message ‘Let love lead’ around his neck next to his ID card at all times during the journey as she didn’t want to end up a widow.

Arriving at the military camp in Gwoza on Monday heavily armed, two days of training exercises were conducted hitch-free. “On Wednesday, our ‘oga’ told us to go and drop our arms and ammunition at a certain place before the exercise.”

According to Omereji, the policemen saw a helicopter hovering over their area on an apparent surveillance mission later on that day. They reported to their seniors but were told not to be alarmed.

It was when the training exercise of that day was concluded and the policemen were back in their lodging that Boko Haram militants struck.

Friday recalled the hellish incident: “Suddenly, they called us to grab our guns. If you see how rain used to fall, that was how the bullets were falling. The person next to me was hit by a bullet and died in my presence. I fell down and began crawling. Our dormitory caught fire. Five armoured tanks were approaching with sophisticated weapons.”

He quickly remembered his wife’s words and clutched the Anointing Sticker he kept around his neck. “I began to shout, ‘God of T.B. Joshua, where are you? Come and save me.’ ” Bullets were raining around him but surprisingly none hit.

“I crawled to the high wall of the camp. I saw an officer attempting to climb over hit by a bullet and die instantly.” The wall was higher than an ordinary jump could reach by human capacity.“As I prayed, I jumped and don’t know what pushed me up over the wall.”

However, the danger was far from over. As Friday began to run, he heard the sound of yet more heavy artillery. People to his left and right were collapsing but the policeman kept running. Miraculously, he escaped to safety.

“It was a warfront. I was the only person I know of who survived this Boko Haram attack,” he soberly concluded. “This Anointing Sticker is powerful!”

In his comments, T.B. Joshua reiterated his previous assertion that Boko Haram was the challenge of Nigeria and not Ebola. He further warned that infiltration from foreign militants had already occurred within Boko Haram, hence their sophisticated weaponry.

The prophet further released some alarming prophetic messages related to events to come around the world. He warned airlines not to fly over the volatile Russian and Ukrainian region, stating that he saw the crash of another commercial plane.

He specified the European nation of Poland needed prayer, stating that calamitous events would soon unfold there.

Joshua further stated that US President Barack Obama would soon be rushed to hospital over a health concern and should not undergo an operation. He warned United Kingdom to secure their country in the middle and ending of September in light of the recent security warning issued because of the threat of ISIS militants.
