MERCY JOHNSON ...ATTACKED BY FANS OVER "INSENSITIVE TALKS!

But the actress instead of maintaining her calmness and allow posterity to speak for her due to what she has done in the industry, got infuriated and slapped the marketers.

She replied them that some people should stick to "kain kain"(Local gin consumed in Nigeria) and moreover advised them to try other actresses if they can't afford her.

Her response was met with outrage from hundreds of disappointed fans insinuating that the actress was becoming to big to handle by marketers and seems to be feeling too pompous.

One wrote on Twitter;

"She seems to have gathered too much weight and has hurriedly forgotten those days when she used to go on bended knees for a 'waka pass' Role in movies. They will teach her a lesson"

Another one vented;

I have warned you elsewhere Mercy, to limit your 'gra gra', Don't do 'Gra Gra', lots of 'gra gra' people like you have come and gone and never return, so please lower your 'gra gra' the end of the fame may be knocking at your door. Be warned.

One other infuriated fan commented;

Mercy Johnson, humble yourself and make humility your watchword. You are not endowed beauty wise as the likes of Genny, Omosexy, Rita etc who any day can still make a living from corporate endorsements because of their good look, Mercy Johnson you are ugly, rough and don't belong to the class of the beautiful ones as to get any such endorsement contract. If all you make a living out of, is acting and you are unable to manage your ego as is beginning to show then the end is drawing so close and so fast. Don't forget younger actresses are coming up fast and thick just like you also came and made your mark and obviously all the signs being exhibited by you shows your time is up to give way to others to continue where you've chosen to stop.

SERIOUSLY!..Better Nutrition Strategies!

We all need a balance of Carbohydrates, proteins, fats, fiber, vitamins, and minerals to sustain a healthy body. Healthy eating is not about strict nutrition philosophies, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving yourself of the foods you love. It is about having more energy, feeling great, and keeping you healthy.
Healthy eating is also learning how to “Eat smart”. It’s not just what you eat, but how you eat. Paying attention to what you eat and choosing the right foods that are both nourishing and enjoyable helps support an overall healthy diet.
All these can be achieved by learning some nutrition basics and incorporating them in a way that works for you. Choose the types of foods that improve your health and avoid the types that raise your risk for such illnesses as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes. Expand your range of healthy choices to include a wide variety of delicious foods.
Tips on Healthy Nutrition
• Eat enough calories but not too much: Maintain a balance between the calorie you eat and the calorie you use up, that is, do not eat more food than your body uses. The average recommended daily allowance is 2,000 calories, but this depends on your age, sex, height, weight, physical activity and work.
• Keep moderate Portions; especially high calorie foods rich in sugar and carbohydrate. Do not order or dish out large portions.
• Eat a wide variety of food: Eating healthily is an opportunity to expand your range of choices by trying different foods especially vegetable, whole grains, or fruits that you don’t normally eat.
• Drink more Water: Water is a vital part of a healthy diet. Water help flush our systems, especially the kidneys and bladder of waste products and toxins.
• Eat plenty of fruits, vegetable, grains, and legumes: Foods high in complex carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins, and minerals are low in fats and free of cholesterol. Try to get fresh one.
• Limit sugary foods, salt and refined grain products: Refined sugar is one of the bad carbohydrates. Salt itself is not bad, but taking too much of it is risky to your health.
• Get Moving: A healthy diet improves your energy and feeling of well-being while reducing your risk of many diseases. Including regular physical activity and exercise will make any healthy eating plan work even better.
• One step at a time: Establishing new food habits is much easier if you focus on and take action on one food group or food fact at a time.
• Take time to chew your food: Chew your food slowly, savoring every bite.
• Avoid stress while eating: When we are stressed, our digestion can be compromised, causing problems like colitis and heart-burn. Avoid eating while working, driving, arguing, or watching television. Create a relaxing atmosphere.
• Listen to your body: Ask yourself if you are really hungry. You may really be thirsty, so try and drink a glass of water first. Eating just enough to satisfy your hunger will help you remain alert, relaxed and feeling your best.
• Eat early, eat often: Starting your day with a healthy breakfast can jump start your metabolism, and eating the majority of your daily calorie allotment early in the day gives your body time to work those calories off. Also, eating small, healthy meals throughout the day, rather than the standard three large meals, can help keep your metabolism going

Many victims are still trapped under the rubble of an uncompleted 4-storey building that collapsed on Monday in Victoria Island area of Lagos, southwest Nigeria, said eye witnesses Tuesday at the scene of the incident.
The building collapsed at 8, Muri-Okunola Street, Iru/Victoria Island Local Council Development Area.
At least four people were killed, several injured and 25 others have been rescued.
Officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA; Lagos State Fire Services, the police and other rescue agencies are at the scene trying to rescue trapped victims. The rescue operation was ongoing at the time of this report.
LASEMA General Manager, Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu, said the rescue officials worked through the night, adding that his men had to relocate from the Great Nigeria House fire disaster scene to the scene of the collapsed building to save lives.
“At least 25 people have been rescued but unfortunately we recovered four dead bodies,” he stated.
Lagos Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Mr Olutoyin Ayinde, said he could not ascertain the cause of the collapse, adding that government was bent on reducing incidents of collapsed buildings in the state.
Most of the affected people are artisans working on the collapsed uncompleted building when the tragedy occurred.
Director, Lagos State Fire Service, Rasak Fadipe, stated that the collapsed building was under construction when it caved in, saying that emergency officials in the state responded promptly by arriving the scene of on time.
In the last 10 months, over 13 buildings have collapsed in Lagos. The government recently banned developers from constructing their buildings during public holidays, weekends and festive periods, saying that it had observed that it was during such periods that government officials were not watching that developers perpetrate illegality in building development.
P.M.NEWS observed that several Lagosians still build structures during weekends and public holidays in defiance of the government ban.

M.I Abaga Opens Up On 'Dissing' Olamide & Why Late Dagrin Is Irreplacable!

"Look at my history, I have beef with someone, I mention their names. 'Akpata' wasn't targeted at anyone. A few people went to town saying it was targeted at Olamide but it wasn't. I'm saying that because a lot of people have implied that because I said a line about DaGrin, I was dissing Olamide.

If anyone got the wrong idea, I apologize.The line about DaGrin was more about DaGrin than it was about anyone else.

DaGrin was a hero.He was a real success story for the streets.He was special, he had an energy that was like nothingelse.

When he died, nothingelse mattered to entertainers ;he was that special.
I think Olamide is super creative and so is Reminisce and i think to far they have done great with indigenous ‎rap but DaGrin will stay in a special place"
‎

MI responded to a question by fellow Rapper Phenom in the "Rap Battle " segment of RELOADED Magazine's November issue

The controversial lyrics read

"Omo I miss dagrin the streets they miss him too Cause ever since he left we got nothing to listen to These rappers missed his shoe

Nobody speaking truth".
