5 reasons why ORGASM is good for you.

We all know the pleasurable benefits of an orgasm but did you know they're good for your health, too?

An O a day keeps the doctor away - sound too good to be true? Well, according to sex toy brand LELO, orgasms are healthy as well as a whole lotta fun:

Reduced cravings
“For years, pop culture has projected lighting up a cigarette to be a ubiquitous post-coital ritual, but some studies show that orgasms can act as a regulator when it comes to appetite and cravings. Throughout intercourse, the body produces phenethylamine, a natural amphetamine that may help to reduce cravings for junk food, cigarettes and overeating.”
Preventative care
“As the old sporting adage goes, the best offense is a good defense, and the same goes for your health. According to researchers at Wilkes University, people who have regular sex were found to have higher levels of immunoglobulin A, or IgA, an antibody that fends off infection. In addition, men who have orgasms at least five times a week are at a lower risk for prostate cancer – even less so if prostate massage is involved.”
Headache Relief
“The clichéd ‘Not tonight – I have a headache’ excuse is valid no more. According to scientists, the hypothalamus region of the brain – a small, cone-shaped area connected to the pituitary gland and targeted by headaches – experiences activity during orgasm. As an added bonus, arousal and orgasm increases the amount of oxytocin in your system, which causes your pituitary gland to release endorphins—peptides that dull pain and trigger feelings of well-being.”
Lighter periods
“Your uterus will contract during orgasm, and this helps eradicate cramp-causing compounds and expel blood and tissue. More contractions mean shorter periods with fewer cramps. Pro tip: when having sex during your period, stick to the missionary position – your flow is lighter when you’re horizontal.”
Glowing skin
“Due to a post-orgasm endorphin rush and increased blood and oxygen circulation, your skin reaps some beautiful benefits from the bump and grind. The sex glow, as some call it, is in part also caused by your body’s release of (deep breath, now) dehydroepiandrosterone, or DHEA, which promotes healthy skin and improves your complexion.”

BEHOLD!...The First MISS NIGERIA!

Miss Nigeria started as a photo contest in 1957. Contestants posted photographs of themselves and finalists shortlisted; those successful were invited to compete in the live final which at the time did not include a swimsuit competition at the Lagos Island Club. UAC employee Grace Oyelude won the maiden edition of Miss Nigeria, and later used part of her £200 prize money to travel to England where she studied Nursing.
Contrary to popular belief, Julie Coker was not the first Miss Nigeria; she was Miss Western Nigeria but used the ‘Miss Nigeria’ title during official engagements abroad.
Grace Tinuke Oyelude was crowned the first Miss Nigeria in 1957 in a contest that involved over 200 young girls from all parts of Nigeria.
Born in Sabon Gari, Kano on November 16, 1931, to the Christian family of the late James Adeleye Oyelude and late Marthan Datanu of Isanlu in Kogi State, young and charming Tinuke had her elementary and secondary education between 1940 and 1952 in Kano.
After her secondary education, she had a stint with United African Company (UAC) of Kano in 1957 at the age of 26. She hit the world headlines when she was crowned the first Miss Nigeria few months after she gained admission into the school of nursing, Ashford Kent, England.
She completed her training and became a State Registered Nurse (SRN) in 1961. Not yet satisfied with her achievements, she enrolled immediately at the school of midwifery, St. Thomas Hospital, London from where she qualified as a state registered Midwife SCM (NRM) in 1962.
Her thirst for laurels took her to the Royal College of Nursing, England in 1971 and obtained a Diploma in nursing and Hospital Administration (DNHA) and 1976, she obtained another diploma from Ghana Institute of Management and Personnel Administration.
While in the United Kingdom, Oyelude practiced in a number of hospitals between 1962 and 1963, among which is Paddington General Hospital; Kaduna between 1964 and 1965, then senior nursing sister – in – charge of the former Kaduna Nursing Home (now Barau Dike specialist Hospital, Kaduna) from 1965 to 1977.
At the outbreak of Civil war in 1967, national duty took her to Markurdi General Hospital where she headed a medical team from the then Northern region, which prepared hospitals for receiving war casualties and treating them.
By 1970, she joined the institute of Health, Ahmadu Bello University as a senior matron and became director, nursing services of the ABU teaching hospital, the position she held until she voluntarily retired in 1985.
In recognition of her professional qualification, competence and public spiritedness, she was made external examiner of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. Between 1980 and 1983, she was the chairman, Kwara State Health Management Board. She was honoured in the year 2001 in the Gambia by the West African College of nursing as the ‘WACH‘s Florence nightingale of the 20th century.’
She is Iyaolu of Isalu land and the Iyalode of Okun land.

WOMEN ONLY!..7 THINGS THAT WOULD MAKE A MAN NOT TO MARRY YOU!

If a man is going through things, he expects to believe that his woman has his back through thick and thin.  You want to feel beautiful; he in turn wants to feel like a king.
My male friends and I were talking the other day about marriage.  We don’t talk about it the way women do, fantasizing and getting all excited about our wedding day.  Instead, we talk about it like picking a career, you know you’re going to be stuck with it, it can be enjoyable, but you had better tread lightly or it could end up in disaster.
I thought I’d share with women a few things that my friends said we did NOT want in a wife.  Take it or leave it, but here is what most of us really do not like:

A High-Maintenance Woman
It might be okay to be a little bit of a gold digger, but high maintenance means that nothing is ever good enough.  You buy her something worth millions, she barely says thank you.  She might also be the kind of emotional black hole who is never satisfied or happy no matter what he says or does to make things better.  That’s draining for men, and flat out horrible.

A Woman Who is Bad With Kids
A woman’s beauty is captured in her ability to nurture.  The woman who says “I hate kids” is seen as less of a woman in the eyes of a lot of men.  It also makes her look selfish.

A Woman Who Doesn’t Support You
If a man is going through things, he wants to believe his woman has his back through thick and thin.  You want to feel beautiful; he wants to feel like a king.  If he’s ridiculed or his dreams aren’t supported, then he will probably gravitate toward the woman who helps boost his ego, listens to him and encourages him, just like his mother used to do.

A Woman Who Emasculates You or Doesn’t Respect Gender Roles
Feminism is nice, but a lot of hardcore feminists are either gay or single.  You can have power in your household and still allow the man to be a man.  If you’re constantly ordering him around or not respecting his manhood, then he will feel that you don’t need him.  So, the strong, independent woman who “don’t need no man” may lose her man because he is convinced that she “don’t need him” just like she said.

Bad in The Bedroom
If you ask a man what time it is, he’s probably going to say, “its s*x o’clock.”  Men are physical creatures, and good loving can make a man do pretty much whatever you want.  But being frigid, disinterested, unenthusiastic or not concerned about his physical needs will make other women look that much more inviting.  He definitely won’t want to lock himself into a relationship with you, that’s for sure.  It would be miserable for him.

Doesn’t Get Along With Your Family
No man wants to bring home a woman that his family hates; she becomes like a virus.  Smile, be nice, be helpful, try to get along with everyone if you can and that makes him envision you as a regular visitor to his family gatherings.  If you can’t do that, then find another man with a better family.

Really Mean And Overly Moody/B*tchy
Most of my friends hate women who don’t smile or are always mad about everything.  It sucks.  A smiling woman, who listens to his problems, tells him that he’s special, has his back and drops it ferociously in the bedroom can get him hooked.  You want to be that woman.
Take it or leave it, this is what we said.  What you do with this information is entirely up to you.

Yours Lovely,

The BISHOP

Nigeria’s newest hip-hop sensation is riding solidly on a well-deserved crest of fame.
However not many are aware that the talented young artiste got his first big break through respected music icons M.I and MrRaw.
The prolific rap artiste revealedthis when he dropped by for a friendly shout out at Dream 925FM Enugu with fellow artistes M.I and Mr Raw hours before they performed at the 4th leg of the Star Music Trek concert, which held at the NnamdiAzikiwe Stadium Enugu.
Phyno who gave props to the two artistes for discovering his talent and giving him platform to display it and also noted that he was ready to give his fans what they've been eagerly clamoring for; great music.
Anamachikwena, Man of the Year and Street Music in a short time have established him as a crowd favorite with many dubbing him as an extraordinary artiste to watch out for the future.
Definitely with his lethal combination of hard hitting lyrics, grit and ‘swag, Phyno may very well be the latest discovery the entertainment world is waiting for.

M.I....finally finds his MISSING rib!

Chinyere Okafor And M.I
Jude Abaga - one of the most eligible bachelors in the Nigerian music industry has finally found his missing rib. Where? Right on the stage of the famous Star Music Trek concert which held at Hero Square, Owerri over the weekend.
His gorgeous ‘partner’, Chinyere Okafor whom he selected from the sell out crowd, added her beautiful voice on stage to his rendition of his hit single “One Naira’’
And in total awe of her performance, M.I symbolically removed his gold necklace, proudly proclaiming her, the new ‘Mrs.Abaga’.
‘Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you, the new Mrs Abaga…’ he told Owerri fans as he hugged Okafor.
Interestingly, earlier in the day, during a stop over at Hot FM,colleague JMartins had prophetically declared that M.I would find his missing rib in Owerri. The rapper said 'amen', and gave a mock wedding speech, with Phyno and Martins urging him on…

However the ‘wedding’ which was an entertaining interlude during his show stopping performance was actually just another performance, one of the many notable ones the popular entertainer reeled out through out his 5-star set...
