Revealed! How Boko Haram Militants Rape, Abuse Girls Women And Use Them At Battle Front – Human Right Report....MUST READ.

Boko picture
In a new report  by Human Rights Watch, it has been revealed how Boko Haram insurgents routinely rape and abuse girls and women they abduct from Borno and Yobe States, forcefully marrying some and sending others to the frontlines to fight Nigeria’s security forces.
The report, released Monday, said at least 500 women and girls have been seized by the group since 2009 when the insurgency began.
Human Rights Watch said 30 women and girls who were once prisoners of Boko Haram, told its researchers how they were subjected to a variety of abuses, sometimes for refusing to convert to Islam.
The organization interviewed some of the Chibok schoolgirls abducted by the group April 14, but who later fled or were released.
The students said that nearly all of those abducted from their school, located in a predominantly Christian area of Borno State, were Christian.
More broadly, the majority of the abductions documented by Human Rights Watch took place in the predominantly Christian area of southern Borno State.
Of the 30 victims of abduction interviewed by Human Rights Watch, 29 were Christian; most appeared to have been targeted because of their religious affiliation. Many were threatened with death if they refused to convert to Islam, the report adds.
The women suffered forced labour, including forced participation in military operations; forced marriage to their captors; and sexual abuse including rape.

According to Human Rights Watch, 14 women and girls who had either escaped or were released from Boko Haram camps in the Sambisa forest and Gwoza hills, as well as other witnesses, described how they and others at the camp were routinely forced to cook, clean, and perform household chores while in Boko Haram custody in the camps.
In 2010, a woman who had been abducted and held for three days by Boko Haram in 2009 was quoted as speaking about how she had been forced to wash the bloodied clothes of insurgents killed in the July 2009 violence.
Other abducted women and girls were forced to participate in military operations to support the group.

A 19-year-old who was held in several camps in the Gwoza hills for three months in 2013 was forced to participate in attacks and to carry ammunition for her captors.
The girl said her job in the camp was to cook for the 14-man group until a month later when she was taken along for an operation.
“I was told to hold the bullets and lie in the grass while they fought. They came to me for extra bullets as the fight continued during the day,” she was quoted as saying.
“When security forces arrived at the scene and began to shoot at us, I fell down in fright. The insurgents dragged me along on the ground as they fled back to camp.”

During another operation, she narrated being asked to approach a group of five men in a nearby village and lure them to where the insurgents were hiding.
The woman said she feigned to be afraid and asked the young men, mostly teenage members of the Civilian JTF, for help.
“When they followed me for a short distance, the insurgents swooped on them. Once we got back to the camp, they tied the legs and hands of the captives and slit the throats of four of them as they shouted ‘Allahu Akbar.’ Then I was handed a knife to kill the last man. I was shaking with horror and couldn’t do it. The camp leader’s wife took the knife and killed him,” she said.
Another victim told Human Rights Watch that although she was spared work because she had a three-month-old baby when she was abducted in April 2014, she saw others forced to work.
She described seeing some of the Chibok schoolgirls forced to cook and clean for other women and girls whom the insurgents had chosen for “special treatment because of their beauty”.

Forced Marriage
Human Rights Watch said it spoke with six victims and witnesses who had been forced to marry or had witnessed women and girls forced to marry Boko Haram combatants.
Four Christian women and girls told Human Rights Watch how they had been forced into marriage after their abduction in late 2013 in Gwoza.
One girl held by insurgents for one month told Human Rights Watch, “When I insisted that I could not marry at 15, the leader, though already married, declared he would marry me himself. He made us recite some words in Arabic after him, handed us new veils, and declared we were now married.”

A 19-year-old girl who was held in a Boko Haram camp in Gwoza told Human Rights Watch that she was offered thousands of naira as dowry to marry one of the insurgents:
When she refused, asking the money be sent to her father, an insurgent who knows her family accepted the money on her behalf.
She eventually escaped, and in anger insurgents burned down their family house.

Rape and Sexual Violence
Five victims, ranging in age from 15 to 22 years old, described their ordeal, while the three other assaults were described by witnesses, according to the report.
Insurgents took advantage of the absence of a commander and sexually abused abductees who had yet to be “married.”
A woman, who was raped in 2013 in a Boko Haram camp near Gwoza, described how a commander’s wife appeared to encourage the crime:
“I was lying down in the cave pretending to be ill because I did not want the marriage the commander planned to conduct for me with another insurgent on his return from the Sambisa camp. When the insurgent who had paid my dowry came in to force himself on me, the commander’s wife blocked the cave entrance and watched as the man raped me,” she said.
A 15-year-old who was abducted in 2013 and spent four weeks with Boko Haram was quoted as saying she refused having sex with one of the fighters despite being forced to “marry” him.
“After we were declared married I was ordered to live in his cave but I always managed to avoid him. He soon began to threaten me with a knife to have sex with him, and when I still refused he brought out his gun, warning that he would kill me if I shouted. Then he began to rape me every night. He was a huge man in his mid-30s and I had never had sex before.
It was very painful and I cried bitterly because I was bleeding afterwards.”

A 19-year-old woman, who was married and had children, described how she and one other woman were raped after having been abducted with four other women in April 2014:
“When we arrived at the camp they left us under a tree. I managed to sleep; I was exhausted and afraid. Late in the night, two insurgents shook me and another woman awake, saying their leader wanted to see us.
We had no choice but to follow them, but as soon as we moved deep into the woods, one of them dragged me away, while his partner took the other woman in another direction.
I guessed what they had in mind and began to cry. I begged him, telling him I was a married woman. He ignored my pleas, flung me on the ground, and raped me. I could not tell anyone what happened, not even my husband. I still feel so ashamed and cheated.
The other woman told me she was also raped, but vowed never to speak of it again as she was single and believes that news of her rape would foreclose her chances of marriage.
A 20-year-old woman, abducted in September 2013, told Human Rights Watch that the insurgent she was “married” to wore a mask all the time, even when he raped her.
Even though she had since escaped, she said,
“I am still afraid to go anywhere because he could be any one of the people around me. Every time I see a huge dark man, I jump in fright that it might be him coming to get me back. I stay awake some nights because I dream of those terrible weeks I spent in their camp.”

EXCLUSIVE: Kenya Hotel Speaks On Wizkid’s Alleged Arrest Over Smoking!

Click for Full Image Size
The blogosphere has been bubbling recently with a story alleging that Nigerian artiste, Wizkid, was arrested by the Police in Kenya over a smoking offence.

According to a Kenyan website, the singer was apprehended when he allegedly smoked a substance in a non-smoking area. He was said to have taken the substance at a hotel he lodged when he visited the East African country, Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya.

The incident, according to the report, happened when the Nigerian superstar singer was about checking out of the hotel to catch a flight to Lagos, Nigeria, after spending a week in the country. He reportedly paid the sum of 50,000 Kenya Shillings as fine to the hotel before the police from the Capitol Hill Police Station took him away for interrogation.

However, when Nigeriafilms.com contacted the hotel in Nairobi, a staff, who simply identified himself as James and introduced himself as the Duty Manager of the hotel, informed us that nothing of such happened.

‘Nothing of such happened in this hotel. He (Wizkid) was never a guest at our hotel,’ the hotel manager summarily said when he was contacted.

Meanwhile, efforts made by Nigeriafilms.com to speak with Kenyan website that reported the story proved abortive as those who picked the phone declined to speak on the matter.

Meanwhile, Wizkid's manager, Seun Jonathan has said “nothing of such happened. It is all rumour, rumours keep churning out everyday, it didn’t happen.”

Wizkid is yet to officially tweet or react to the allegations.

PMNews reports that the woman, Adenike Kolawole delivered on Sunday at Evangelical Church of Cherubim and Seraphim located at Pipeline Road, Mafon area, Ejigbo, Lagos during church service.

Kolawole who is married to Kayode said her problem started after she had a miscarriage. She said she has been looking for the fruit of womb since then. She had sought both medical and spiritual help
before she noticed that she was pregnant. But at the same time she was observing her normal mensural circles.

She said she waited endlessly to deliver but all that expectations was to no avail. This prompted her to relocate to Lagos. She said the search for spiritual solution brought her to the church where she eventually delivered the baby. According to her,  those years were traumatic because her husband was under intensive pressure to send her away.

“I was rejected by my relations, my husband’s family who did not give me the chance of bearing a child. My only consolation was my faith in God,” she narrated.

On how it happened, she explained that she was at the church service when she noticed that water was coming from her private part and she went to a room to check what was happening before she knew it, the baby came out alive. She said she raised an alarm which attracted church members who assisted her to deliver the baby. The news of the deliverance attracted residents who trooped to the church in droves to see the woman and the new born baby.

When PMNews reporter visited the church on Tuesday, residents were still visiting the church to congratulate the woman and her husband, Kayode who expressed shock on what happened.

Kayode said he did not believe his wife over the years when she claimed to be pregnant because he had waited in vain. He said he was grateful to God for what he had done and thanked the well wishers for their support.

The prophet of the church, Yinka Olawale said when the woman came from Abuja, he noticed that she was pregnant and at the same time was having her monthly menstrual cycle. He said he embarked on prayers and also used anointing oil and holy water with faith. He said the first sign they observed was that the cycle stopped and she delivered on Sunday. He thanked God for what happened and said it has strengthened his faith in God.

SHOCKER...How Actress Bravely Reveals How Bill Cosby Raped Her Severally!

When comedian Hannibal Buress delivered his recent merciless tongue-lashing at Bill Cosby, calling him a serial 'rapist', there was one woman who was paying particularly close attention.

When Barbara Bowman was a teenager she was emotionally and sexually abused by the TV star and in an exclusive interview with MailOnline she describes in chilling detail how Cosby manipulated her into believing he was a father figure and took advantage of her youth, vulnerability and yes, even ambition, to have his way with her over and over again. Barbara told MailOnline:

'I was drugged and raped by that man. He is a monster. He came at me like a monster. My hope is that others who have experienced sexual abuse will not be intimidated into silence by the famous, rich and powerful. If I can help one victim, then I've done my job.'

Raised in Denver from age nine by her mother, Barbara soon began studying acting and modeling. By 13, she became a client of J.F. Images, Denver's top agency at the time.
What began as a dream in 1985 with a private 'audition' for Cosby ended two years later in screams for help while being pinned down to the comic's hotel bed.
Barbara, now 47, says it's time to end her code of silence — a silence that at least 13 other victims have followed — spanning three decades.

I'm finally revealing all of my full story in hopes that others will learn to read the tell-tale signs of abuse and not wait as long as I did. No one believed me for years. They said Bill would never do that. That it was preposterous. But I'm putting my name out there and standing behind these words, just like Burress. No more code of silence.'

Now, 25 years after the multiple incidents of drugging, sexual assault, and even rape at the hands of the now 77-year-old Cosby, Barbara continued:

'I've been silent too long. It's time to raise a fuss. I'm a real person that this happened to. And it's taken decades to get over what he did to me. I thank Hannibal Burress for speaking out over and over again, despite the threats from the Industry that it could ruin his career. He is standing up for me and the other women who are too afraid to speak out. And the timing couldn't be better. It sickens me to think he'll be on TV again, playing a father, no less. Maybe he should also teach his fictitious TV family how to escape the talons of sexual predators.

Bill used to tell me that he was my father figure and that I needed to trust him as a father, 100 percent. Then he'd drug me and attack me. I was to afraid to talk back. He told me over and over again, "Trust me like I was your father." He zeroed in on that like a laser beam.'

While other victims were allegedly given hush money to prevent them from going public with their accusations, and another settled after filing a court case against Cosby, Barbara is free to speak out.

'I never took shut up money. My motivation to speak now is to expose Bill Cosby as the animal that he is. He went after me in that hotel room like an animal with such sexual prowess and force that he couldn't control himself. And at 19-years-old, I knew it would be the last time he would ever get the chance to hurt me this way again.'

It all began in 1985. The fresh-faced 17-year-old was invited to meet The Coz, as he was known in comedy circles, behind the closed doors of an empty conference room in the back of the Turn of the Century Nightclub in Denver, Colorado.

'I was studying acting when my agent told me Mr Cosby was scouting for young talent and that I'd have a shot to be groomed by him personally. I was eager to please. This could be my big break. The first thing Mr. Cosby said when he met me in the conference room was, "I want you to go in the bathroom and wet your hair…then sit in this chair, shut your eyes and do an improvisation exercise with me."

He wanted me to act completely drunk, wasted, while he stood behind me and stroked my neck and upper chest. He didn't touch me beyond that, on that day, but that's where it certainly started. Even though it felt off to do the exercise, I gave it my all. I'd learned from years of acting classes that I had to take direction. After all, I was in the presence of the most powerful man in America at that time. Dr Huxtable chose me!'

Barbara admits to being scared while with Cosby but she also had strong desires to 'make my way up the ladder. Whenever he'd be in Denver for work, he'd make it a point to meet me, give me acting lessons, and eventually this lead to him flying me all over the country to join him.

'He flew me to Lake Tahoe to attend the John Denver Celebrity Ski Classic. He arranged for me to see Broadway shows in New York. He brought me to Hilton Head, South Carolina, to watch him perform and attend a star-studded golf tournament. He said it was all part of his assessment to see if I was worth mentoring and grooming. He wanted to see how I handled myself around celebrities.'

But Cosby's promises to make Barbara a star, or even audition for 'The Cosby Show,' as she'd hoped, never came to fruition. He did fly the ingenue first class.

'I got the royal treatment. I'd fly to wherever he was. I was met at the baggage claim curb by his right-hand man. Then, I'd be handed off to Bill's bodyguard, who would take care of me until Bill was ready to see me. I was always met by one of his men. I was never alone.'

Soon, the clandestine meetings became routine. Barbara would arrive at Bill's hotel, check into her own room, see Cosby perform on stage, and then wait for the star in his green room.

'He started working on my head right away. He knew I had no father figure in my life. He knew that. yes, I was an independent girl, but he knew I was vulnerable and alone inside. He coerced and manipulated me into trusting him. He insisted I give into him 100 percent.'

Barbara said that Cosby befriended her mother and grandparents, and even flew mom and daughter to Broadway shows, complete with limo treatment and all so that he could get away with his sexual violations.

'He was Dr Huxtable. Everybody loved him,' Barbara's mother Pat Hubbard told MailOnline.
'No one was looking over my shoulder. Or his,' Barbara added.

''My mother totally trusted him, too. She would have never let me into dangerous hands. She sent me off with her blessings. She wanted me to have these opportunities.'

Now, in retrospect, Barbara believes this was all part of Cosby's plan — to 'gain my mother's trust so that she wouldn't butt in and get in the way.

'By the time I was drugged and raped by him in New York, he'd already broken me down, brainwashed me and made me feel like there was something wrong with me if I resisted his sexual advances.

Bill would say that he needed to guide me, and that I must trust him. When he'd fill me in on my next itinerary to meet him, he would say, "You're not going to fight me this time, are you?" He'd remind me that if I was going to be a successful actress, I'd have to break down my barriers and "learn to be vulnerable." 'I knew something was wrong, that this was a twisted situation, but if I resisted, I was failing him and failing my good fortune. He was a pot of gold and I needed to take good care of it.'

Barbara said there were times she'd push him away, but then she'd give in. It was Reno, Nevada. 1986. Cosby's hotel suite was darkened.

'He turned out all the lights. It was completely pitch black. He laid me down on the couch and started caressing and touching me all over. Then he put my hand on his penis, covering it with his hand. He had me masturbate him. I couldn't see what was going on. When it was over, I ran out of the room and threw up.

It was so invasive and frightening and humiliating. There was no way I could tell my mother. I couldn't even admit it to myself. I tried to convince myself that I'd imagined it. That it was a one-time thing, that it wouldn't happen again. And I was paralyzed with fear.

It did happen again. Barbara calls it 'the apartment incident.'

'He invited me to his New York brownstone for dinner. Staff was there. We ate in the kitchen. I had one glass of red wine with dinner. My next recollection is me, coming to, slumped over the toilet bowl, throwing up. I was wearing a man's white t-shirt and my panties. The t-shirt was not mine. Bill was standing over me, holding my hair out of my face as I threw up. I had no idea how I'd gotten there. I'd had one glass of wine with dinner. He was trying to soothe me with his words, "It will be okay. It's okay."

By the time I came to, the staff was gone. No one in the house but us. And as the fogginess lifted, he escorted me to the couch where I recovered. I then got dressed and he called me a cab. I was mystified. It was a sick pit in my stomach, knowing that I was out of control over the last undetermined amount of time. And that I was undressed, while he was in a white robe, and how had I gotten there?

Barbara is certain she was drugged by Cosby. And she believes raped by him too.

'I know for sure he forced himself multiple times upon me and since he needed to create an environment in which I could not fight him, I can't in all honesty say that I recall penetration because at that time I was in a vacant state of mind, as I was often drugged and brainwashed.

Whatever drug he gave me, didn't allow me to think clearly when it was over and done with. It didn't register that I should be panicking. It was like amnesia almost. It was like what a lobotomy would do to you. I couldn't even think clearly when I was awake. I was vacant.'

Why Barbara didn't even tell her mother, her closest confidant, of the abuse?

'I was ashamed and scared, first of all. The active part of my brain kept saying to me, 'I'm on top of the world. I was special, with something unique that other aspiring actresses didn't have. I had a false sense of superiority. I felt that I was the chosen one. No cattle calls or paying dues or groveling for jobs. I had the biggest connection ever.

'I wasn't completely aware of the dissection of my spirit and what was really happening. I had a sense of obligation to give Bill 100 percent. My brain was telling me not to believe it, like I was imagining it not to be true, so much so that I rationalized it away. Pushed it away. If I ignored it, it didn't exist. It was a small price to pay. I thought this was all part of the deal.'

Every time Barbara boarded a plane, at Cosby's request, she would 'pray and pray' on the way to meeting him that this time it wouldn't happen again.

'After all, here I was, picked out of millions of girls, groomed to be a superstar, by a superstar, one of the most important, trustworthy, influential figures in America at that time.'

In fact, Cosby so believed in Barbara's talents, that he moved her into a small apartment in Manhattan to take acting classes at HB Studios in the West Village.

'Bill was my benefactor for sure. Though the agreement was that once I started booking jobs, I'd repay that loan.'

Meanwhile, the sexual and emotional abuse continued.

'I told myself that it wasn't going to happen anymore. Yet it did.'

Cosby started to sense that Barbara was pulling away. That the tight hold he had on her 'was unraveling', she said. And, it was getting dangerous for him. He started to separate himself from me, as well. I'd been abruptly moved from the New York City apartment he set me up in, to a distant house in Roslyn, New York, 45 minutes away by train.'

The last straw occurred in Atlantic City, where Cosby was performing. He flew in Barbara to be with him. By this point, the scenario was obvious.

'A car picked me up at the airport. I went to my penthouse hotel room. But my luggage didn't arrive. I called the concierge to inquire where my bag was, before I went to bed.'

Oddly, Barbara awoke that next morning to discover her luggage had been placed inside her room, part of Cosby suite.

'Who delivered the bag? Certainly, the concierge wouldn't have entered my room unannounced. Once again I wondered what happened after I'd fallen asleep. Then, Bill summoned me into his room. There, he berated me, "What the hell is the matter with you! How dare you have no discretion! You know you're supposed to be discreet. You've embarrassed me. You were drunk."

'He freaked out that I disclosed to the concierge the fact that a 19-year-old girl was calling from his penthouse. He couldn't handle it. He throws me down on his bed and jumps on top of me. He used his forearm to pin me down by the neck.

He was trying to unbuckle his belt and take down his pants. I'll never forget the sound of the clinking of his belt buckle. He couldn't get his belt off. I'm screaming for help and trying to wrestle out of his grip while he's trying to get his belt off and he's trying to pull my pants down at the same time. I couldn't get out from under him.

'I didn't stop screaming. He realizes I'm not stopping. He finally gets to a point of frustration and decides it's too much trouble and he doesn't want to risk it. He gets off me and calls me a "baby." That's when he throws me out.

'Within days, Barbara was also thrown out of the Roslyn house, subsidized by Bill and her agent. She was forced to get on a plane home to Denver that day, without even getting a chance to get her personal belongings. The landlord had locked her out.

'I'd already paid rent. I knew this was no coincidence. Earlier that day, the manager at the grocery store I was working at, told me I had an urgent phone call. It was Bill. He reemed me out and basically told me I was finished. I hung up my apron and walked out the door. I was told I was going home to Denver. Immediately.'

Barbara later sued the landlord and won back her personal belongings, plus $830.77 in damages. But things got much worse when Barbara returned to her mother's Denver home. Her high-powered agent and friend of Cosby's ordered her to take a drug test and a pregnancy test. Both lab results were negative.

'It was so weird. It didn't make any sense. I wasn't having sex or doing drugs at all. I couldn't figure out why she made me take these tests. What made her believe I needed to take them? Or that I'd failed to hold up my end of the bargain? I was working hard at my classes in New York.'

While 're-grouping' at her mother's home, Barbara saved enough money to go back to New York to pursue her career on her own terms.

'I cashed in my savings bonds, sold my car, and my mother gave me some money.'

The following years marked success for Barbara. She starred in more than 30 national TV commercials, including ones for McDonalds, Miller Light and Holiday Inn. She also had guest spots on Saturday Night Live, One Life to Live, and All My Children.  She eventually moved to Los Angeles and continued to excel in film and TV.

'But I never got the career that I was meant to have.'

Eventually a girlfriend convinced her to meet with a lawyer in 1987.

'He laughed me out of the office. He said I was delusional, ridiculous, making these stories up. No one believed me. I called Gloria Allred. No one would listen. They thought I was making up stuff to get money. I never asked for or was given a penny. That's not the point. But it shut me up. I didn't need one more authority figure to tell me I was full of s***.'

'To be totally honest, I could barely deal with the truth myself. I was holding back and embarrassed about the hand job. I was still afraid I was going to be condemned. I went into the lawyer's office confident he would help me. I walked out with my tail between my legs, just like when Bill threw me out of that hotel room for the last time. I was smacked down.'

In 2004, when another rape victim Andrea Constand went public with her plight by filing a lawsuit against Cosby, Barbara said she made it her 'mission' to support her.

'I believed her because the details of her assaults were eerily similar to mine. I knew she was telling the truth and needed someone to support her because no one else was.'

Barbara was one of 13 victims called upon to take the witness stand in Constand's civil lawsuit. Constand settled out of court for an undisclosed sum in 2006.

'But much to my shock, while I was en-route to Philadelphia for a local news appearance, Bill's lawyers learned I was going to speak publicly about my sexual assaults. By the time I landed, I was told Constand had settled out of court. The code of silence continued.

Here it was. All of the women came out of the woodwork. I was eager to sit on the witness stand. Andrea's story of being drugged and sexually assaulted was the same as mine, and she was being dragged through the mud. I was so deflated. They came to a settlement while I was on the plane. I got the bad news when I landed. Get the broom. Under the rug it goes'

In the period following the 2006 settlement, Cosby went on a college lecture tour and began a campaign, speaking to young black youth to 'pull up their pants' and stop whining about their plight.
'He was diverting attention from his reprehensible behavior by reinventing himself as an advocate for youth empowerment. Once again, our story took a back seat.

'Step one is exposing Bill Cosby as the monster he is. Step two is getting support from public figures, like Burress, who had the courage to speak out. Hollywood's not deaf. Buress is surely not the only one to know about this. But no one is talking. There's too much to lose. Yet, that leaves us victims feeling like we are on a desert island fending for ourselves, and that's a lonely place to be.'

Though Barbara is now a successful abstract expressionist artist in Scottsdale, Arizona and a happily married mother of two, she admits to still being haunted by what Cosby did to her.

'Those experiences live inside me. They take up space in my brain and altered the course of my emotional development and altered the course of my career. Being assaulted like that made a huge impact on my ability to trust my own instincts, as well as others' actions. It was a block I've been working to undo. And a block that Bill Cosby is solely responsible for creating.'

Ini Edo Dares Ex-Hubby In Houston, USA!

Click for Full Image Size
Weeks after her crashed marriage, Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, has apparently bounced back in style. The actress has put her travails behind her and has even promised her fans that she won’t allow her failed marriage to deprive her of happiness.

To prove that further, the Akwa-Ibom State born actress stormed Houston, USA for the just concluded African movie awards in North America, the Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards (GIAMA) which took place at the Stafford Center in Houston, Texas.

It could be recalled that Ini's ex-husband, Philips Ehiagwina lives within the neighborhood of Houston, but the star actress didn't seem to give a damn if she might run into him in the course of touring the town.

Ini and Phillip's wedding, also took place in the same town on Saturday February 28, 2009, so they were more chances of the divorced couple running into each other or perhaps meeting with their old joint friends.

Nevertheless, the unshaken actress ceases every moment to post the photos of all her activities in US on her Instagram page, not minding whose Ox is being gored.

Although she has been receiving tons of criticisms and tongue lashing by concerned fans, Ini insisted she had long moved on with her life and would not want to be dragged into the issue any further, a development which may have put to rest many questions on the minds of her fans.

A disappointed fan said she was one of those who prayed for her marriage so that it won’t crash, but when she read her post that she had decided to walk out of the union, she was shocked. “I said to myself after her decision that I won’t trust any actress again”.

The actress recently said that she had realised that “every situation does not need a reaction,” apparently responding to some of the questions being thrown to her by her fans.

Peter Okoye Explains Why He Went Solo

Two weeks ago, Nutricima, makers of Olympic milk endorsed only Peter Okoye instead of the singing duo of him and his brother, Paul, since then tongues have been wagging, anxiety high and of course, speculations running wild with all sorts of permutations on why it should be so. Scandal hounds have sniffed another crack in the house of the Okoyes and felt another rift in the air as the one that nearly tore them apart months before.

However, Peter, the more outspoken one of the music twins speaking at his unveiling debunked such development and explained why the company selected him alone. “ Music is like football. For example, if I play for Barcelona and I get endorsed by Nike, it doesn't mean the whole Barcelona team has been endorsed. This is about me and not me and Paul” he explained.

“Among thousands or perhaps millions of people in the entertainment industry, I felt honoured to be chosen as the brand ambassador. The deal means a lot, not just to me but also to my fans. If a brand isn't worth it I have nothing to do with such a brand. The fact that I am ready to work with this brand is an indication of its top quality” he added in his inaugural speech as the brand ambassador of the brand

SHOCKER.."I Fell Out With First Lady Patience Jonathan Because I Refused To Share Rivers State's Money With Her" - Gov. Amaechi Says

The governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi says the major reason he and the first lady, Dame Patience Jonathan her at loggerheads is because he refused to share the state money with her.

The ever outspoken governor Amaechi said this yesterday October 24th at the graduation ceremony of the Pioneer graduands of the Ignatus Ajuru University of Education held at Rumuolumeni in Rivers state. He said:

"Remember, when I became governor, I fought militancy. Right there where you built a new house used to be a hole where they pass into the river nd escape. The security report reached me and I came here and chased the militants away. I asked them to fence the school premises and block the hole. I have to protect you because it is my responsibility. Some of the militants went to Lagos, Ivory Coast, Ghana etc. Today, they are back because the wife of the President bought them back to protest against me."

I refused to give them money in Abuja because if I do that, I won't be able to carry out any developmental projects or finish the road from Rumuolumeni to Rumuepirikom. The quarel between me and the wife of the Preseident is because she said I should bring your money, Rivers peoples money and share with her" Governor Amaechi alleges
Governor Amaechi is also quoted to have told the graduands that should they vote for President Jonathan back into power in next year's general elections, rivers state's economy would crumble.

"Now that you are graduates, you are eligible voters that can use your voters card to change society. Ask yourself this question that I have always asked Rivers people. What have we (Rivers people) done to President Jonathan that he has refused to bring any project to Rivers state. We had to fight them before they could do the East-West road.

I had to abuse the federal government and they abused me back before they could do the work you now see on that road. Our President, from the South-South, has taken oil wells from Soku in Rivers state to Bayelsa state. What about the 41 oil wells in Etche that was given to Abia state? Is the President or his wife from Abia? Why do they want us to suffer? If President Jonathan comes back to power in 2015, Rivers state economy will crash" he concluded.

GOBE!...Man Ordered To Remarry Woman He Infected With HIV!

Click for Full Image Size
For callously divorcing his wife of 13-years after infecting her with the dreaded Human Immune Virus (HIV), a middle-aged man has been ordered to re-marry her or face the consequences.

This was the verdict of an upper Shari’a court sitting at Sabon Gari, after the case was brought before it by the aggrieved wife.

The husband by name, Abdullahi Ahmad was dragged to the court by ex-wife Umma Usman, who told the court that the defendant had divorced her and asked her to vacate his house after infecting her with the dreaded disease.

The victim informed the honourable court that both have been living together as a couple for about 13 years and that she had several children with him before she later found out that he is HIV/AIDs positive.

The court also heard that the defendant issued the hapless woman a divorce letter knowing fully that he infected her with the disease.

Umma is praying the court to quash the divorce issued to her by her husband and compel him to re-marry her since he is the one that infected her.

In his verdict, the Judge, Malam Farouk Ahmad, granted the complainant’s plea, canceled the divorce issued to her by the husband and ordered him to immediately re-marry her.

Judge Ahmad said under Islamic Shari’a Law, "it is binding on the husband to stay with the woman for the rest of his life being the one responsible for her getting an infection that has no known cure."

He ordered him to take good care of the woman henceforth

The South African Government has returned the $15m earlier seized from Nigeria.
This disclosure was made by South African Ambassador to Nigeria, Lulu Mnguni, at a news conference on Friday.

The country had, on September 5, 2014, seized $9.3m cash belonging to Nigeria and a month laterseized another $5.7m, claiming that both funds were to be used for illegal purchase of arms.

But Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, explained that the transactions were legal, urging the South African Government to stop actions that could degenerate to a diplomatic showdown.

Mnguni also spoke on the collapsed building in the Synagogue church in Lagos State and its effect on the relationship between the two countries.

He said that the two countries had come a long way and that the development would only make them remain stronger.

“South Africa’s relations with Nigeria has come a long way, so now this actually will make us much closer, to see how we can close some of these gaps that result in such accidents”, he said.
“South Africa’s relation with Nigeria is priceless; it cannot be sold for $15m”, he said.

Synagogue tragedy: T.B Joshua to pay victims’ families N750,000 each.

TB Joshua

In a bid to heal the wounded hearts, founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet TB Joshua would be compensating victims’ families of the recent collapsed building in his church with a sum of N750,000.

In the wake of controversies with the aftermath of the Synagogue guest house building collapse on September 12, 2014. Prophet TB Joshua has announced a donation of R50,000($4,500/N750,000) to each victim's family. He said this through his spokesman Kirsten Nematandani.

The church said it has provided the family with some needs as many of them who died were breadwinners to their family.

"We have done a full audit of each family's financial needs and assisted with various household expenses as many of the deceased were breadwinners, Household expenses varied from rent money to school fees and groceries."

He said the church has also pleaded with the Nigerian government to expedite the repatriation process in order for the families to bury their loved ones with dignity and receive closure.

Nematandani also said the church had travelled to all provinces in the past few weeks to visit, counsel and assess families' financial needs and assist where possible.

ARA..the taliking drummer..I don’t mind dating a younger man now.

Now single drummer girl, Ara, has said she is ready to give marriage another shot now that she and her once Iceland-based hubby have divorced.
In an exclusive chat with Saturday Beats recently, Ara said she wouldn’t even mind going for a younger guy if he comes around her.

“When I meet the right person and fall in love, I will consider marriage. I really want to fall in love again. I don’t believe in marriage just for its sake. If a younger guy comes up to me, I don’t mind dating the person. I don’t mind marrying somebody who I am older than. I have spoken to a couple of people and they don’t see anything wrong with it. If the person has a mature mind and is committed, then it is not a big deal.”

The Key To a Successful Relationship...COMMUNICATION...MUST READ.

Arguments, challenges and rough times could hit your relationship even without you preparing for it or having the mind to start it. This only opens our mind to the fact that there is no perfect relationship only successful relationships but what really makes a relationship successful?

Relationship success lies in the hands of the parties involved but there are certain steps to take and guidelines to consider. In successful relationships, partners learn the habit of communication.

Communication is a habit that can be learned, we all communicate either verbally or nonverbally.

Communication involves listening with your senses and paying attention to what your partner says and paying closer attention to what your partner isn’t saying. That way, you are listening for their feelings towards the issue on ground as well as their words.

While communicating, make sure NOT to put at the back of your mind that you are not to blame for the issue on ground but rather listen and be ready to share the blame. When you share in the blame, then the issue is half resolved because you make your partner know that they are not in this alone and what so ever the issue may be you take responsibility for it as well.

Another thing to consider while communicating is giving your partner the opportunity to talk without you interrupting them. When your partner lets out their concerns it gives them room to ventilate their mind and help you know where you should come in when it’s time for you to make comments or reply them. But when you interrupt your partner it becomes difficult to understand them and even pay attention to the message they are trying to pass across to you.

Communication bridges the gap between hatred and love. When an issue comes up, you are either angry at your partner or you just decide not to talk to them but when angry it is better not to talk at all and give yourself the chance to cool off because when you’re angry and talking at the same time, you say things that you shouldn’t say which could lead to the beginning of the end of your relationship.

You want to keep your relationship because you love your partner. Although, it is okay to dislike what your partner has done badly to you but how to communicate your feeling is also essential as it is the only way to show that you really cherish the relationship.

How then can you communicate your feelings?

Create a conducive environment to talk; whether you ask your partner on a date (women love dates) or you decide to go on a walk with your partner, it all depends on you because you are the only one who truly understands your partner. Preparing a peaceful environment to talk is always very important when you are trying to resolve an issue, you don’t want to resolve an issue when you or your partner are angry or when your partner is having a glass of wine or when your partner is tired from work or just having a bad day. Sometimes taking it outside the house is the secret to having a peaceful conversation.

Give your partner time to speak; speaking without being interrupted makes you feel like you are being heard and respected, so when next you’re trying to resolve that issue let your partner spit it all out, without you interrupting them and making them feel less important. Their views is as important as yours.

Stick to the plan; the main aim of communication is to resolve an issue in a peaceful way so both parties are happy, this should be at the back of your mind when communicating, don’t go back and forth on what has been said before and don’t go back into the past by mentioning what your party did or said that made you unhappy but rather focus on saying what could be done next time so such an issue won’t come up again. Address the issue maturely having in mind the main goal which is to make yourself and your partner happy.

No third party; most arguments or issues in your relationship doesn’t require the help of a third party. The only time you need a third party is when it is getting out of hand and you seem to be getting nowhere, that’s the only time you should seek the help of a relationship counselor or expert who would help you through the whole process. Avoid involving friends or family in your relationship affair because they are not in it with you and most times, they are not going to help you.

Communication may seem difficult especially when it’s leading no where or when you keep going back and forth. When the right steps aren’t taken, it looks like you’ve taken ten steps backward when you should have taken just a single step forward which could have led to addressing the issue successfully.

Remember that you once loved your partner for a reason, always stick to that reason and don’t allow unnecessary arguments to affect your relationship.

You can speak to me on this issue and let me help you out.

Peace and Love,
